Barona is a responsible solution

A more responsible and humane working life.

That’s what we at Barona are building. Barona is one of Finland’s largest employers. Our impact on society is among the best in the world: according to Upright, which measures the net impact of companies, our overall rating is +53, which puts Barona among the top 20% in the world in terms of impact.

The most significant positive impact comes from job creation, tax revenue, and the development of employees’ skills and know-how.

  • We employed a significant number of young people: nearly half (46%) of our employees were under 30 years old.
  • We invested in well-being and achieved a 20 % reduction in mental health-related absences.
  • We helped over 15,000 individuals develop their skills to meet the needs of working life.
