Could your next job be in Fuengirola, under the sun? Barona is one of the largest employers of Finns on the Costa del Sol; hundreds of Barona employees already work here.

The Fuengirola and Mijas offices are located close to each other, just a short distance apart. The modern and comfortable facilities support a smooth workday: electric desks, well-lit workstations, and common areas make everyday life pleasant and efficient.

At the Mijas office, you’ll have access to a large rooftop terrace, a sauna, and a barbecue area, which add a special touch to your workday. During breaks, you can head to the fitness room, do a light workout, or stretch out in the exercise area.

A free breakfast is served in the mornings, and coffee is available throughout the day. Everyday life is also made easier by small conveniences, such as snack vending machines offering Finnish products and a recycling station for employees.

A few times a year, a physical therapist also visits the office to offer pop-up massages and tips on staying healthy.

Moving to Fuengirola has been easy, partly because so many Finns actually live here. Services, ranging from healthcare to dining, are available in Finnish, and you can pick up some Spanish or improve your English skills along the way. You receive comprehensive support from the work community even outside of office hours, and there are plenty of voluntary activities to join with colleagues. Of course, participation isn’t mandatory if you don’t feel like it, but Barona ensures that no one has to feel lonely.
